A Girl and A Gun - Amarillo Gun Show

So this weekend was my first gun show. It wasn't the first one I've ever been to, just the first one to work. We had a table for our Ladies Shooting League in Amarillo. We had some great neighbors and most of my RSO's came out to help work.

Over 3,000 people walked through those doors this weekend and we handed out 400 or more postcards and fliers for the group. We are almost at 100 members and hope to be there by the end of the year.

I met some great ladies and even some pretty cool guys. We have an opening on the possibility of a range that will be just for us....how super cool is that?! Details on that to come in the near future.

The funniest part of the weekend happened Saturday afternoon when a woman in her 50's or 60's picked up a flier, looked at the video playing on the monitor and then turned looked for her husband and giggling and cute little, almost sinister, evil-genious type laugh. Robin and I laughed until we cried, it was a hoot. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again.

If you missed us at this gun show, we will be back in December and February at the Civic Center. Just look for the pink table cloth!
