Deep Conceal Holsters: Review

Oh my goodness, I have several holsters to review for you this week! I am not presenting them in any particular order, simply the order in which I received and reviewed them.

The first one is the Deep Conceal Concealed Carry Shoulder holster.

The Deep Conceal Max Double Strap Holster

And the Deep Conceal Ultra Carry Single Strap Concealed Carry Holster

Construction: These holsters are made out of soft cotton canvas material and soft velcro. They are constructed well and through our testing never offered to separate or fray. If you measure correctly for your size, it is made to fit your body, if you need more length, extensions are available as well. These holsters are machine washable.

Comfort: This is another holster that the comfort depends on your build. This holster was not comfortable for me all of the time, as I am not a thin person. It was only uncomfortable for me after a large meal, sitting in the car. The Cowboy; however, loves it and wears it almost daily. If you are a fit person, I think you will find this holster extremely comfortable.
Gun Ride: The firearm rides just under your weak arm in a vertical position.
Concealability: Due to the strap across your belly, you need  some type of cover. Either a button up or vest of some type that closes at least as far up as the holster.
Price: With models between $30 and $50, the price fits anyone's budget.

Ordering/Customer Service: Customer service at Deep Conceal is top notch. They are there to answer any questions and will help you with a smile that can be felt through their phone calls and emails. Shipping is swift and their return policy is fair.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this holster free from the manufacturer. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255 : “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

  1. very interesting, I've looked at this one, but being short from the waist to the bust, and, well...not, "fit" in that area, I just don't know that it would work. esp, now that I've read your review, I would be more inclined to try the more traditional shoulder holster, I think.

thanks for trying it out, it's a very thoughtful review.

  2. Sew, you might enjoy the Flashbang. I really like that one. I also love the Remora, that review is coming in the next day or 2. I have not found a traditional leather shoulder holster yet that I can wear. If I do I will post a review.

Thanks for being a loyal reader!!

  4. I have this one and you are right on! The only problem I have with it is shoulder to chest length. It was too long and I ended up sewing another Velcro patch on each side to compensate for the loose fit. Feels just about perfect now. And these people are great. We had a sizing issue where they sent me the wrong size and they immediately sent me a new one with a shipping slip which THEY paid for. All in 4 days. I was very impressed!

  5. Texas Lady, I like the same two holsters...I mostly use the Flashbang, but was lamenting to my husband recently how I wish I had an easy carry method when jogging. I just picked up a Remora for my LCP yesterday and LOVE it. I haven't actually gone jogging in it, but it seems to be great in my yoga pants, so I have high hopes! As a side note re: the flashbang holster for any of your readers who might have one or plan to get one; I made an easy alteration to my bras that has much improved the stability of the gun. Prior to that I found myself adjusting the holster position throughout the day since it would move around more than I liked when I was active. (Let me preface by saying I have more "sturdy" bras, that have more than 2 inches of material in the front, so this wouild apply to bras such as that.) Anyway, I found a cheap pack of large, but flat grommets at a local home improvement store and cut a small hole where I wanted the flashbang holster to sit (linee up the snap button with where the hole would be) and attached the grommet (it takes 5 seconds with a hammer). Actually, the hardest part was deciding to poke a hole through a $65 bra...but it was a success (and the grommets wash fine) so I went ahead and did that to almost all my bras!

Thanks for your holster reviews. Reviews by women are few and far between. I'm looking to get a Ruger SP101 w/ 3 inch barrel, so I'm beginning to look for hoster options that I think might work. It will be a bit more of a challenge to fit that to my body than my LCP!
