Flashbang Bra Holster Review

A week ago I opened the mailbox to find my new Flashbang Holster. If you know me, I love new holsters about as much as new shoes. So I immediately donned my prize and posted a preliminary review after an hour. My views have not changed, I still really enjoy this little holster.

Construction: The Flashbang is constructed out of Kydex with a leather strap to attach it. The Kydex is a clamshell design allowing for a fast and easy draw, while being totally secure when worn as it was designed to be worn. The Pull the Dot snap is strong and secure adding an extra measure of security.
Comfort: The Flashbang  is very comfortable. As long as you have the right bra, you forget it's there. The only discomfort I had was with a tank top that had a built-in shelf bra. I wear a bra with those type tops (as you will have to if you are going to wear the Flashbang) and the elastic band on the shelf bra pressed against the pistol, making it a bit uncomfortable. I solved this problem by simply taking my scissors and snipping that elastic band. Viola, no more pressure, all is well.
Someone asked if the grip will dig into your belly when you sit. My answer is no. If you look at the Flashbang Website, you will see Lisa at 8 months pregnant wearing the flashbang. If she can, you can.
The holster comes with three interchangeable straps so that you can make it fit your favorite bra and make it as comfortable as possible.
Gun Ride: Well, we all know where this one rides. The holster swivels on the snap, so you can adjust it to your comfort.
Concealability: As you can see in my pictures in my preliminary review, the concealability is excellent!
Price: At $40, the Flashbang is plenty of "bang" for your buck! This little holster meets all of my expectations and being Kydex, will last for years.
Ordering/Customer Service: Ordering from the website is easy and the customer service from Looper Brand is excellent. You can also order your Flashbang from various retailers including our friend Kim at Bang Bang Boutique. And for you Amarillo gals, David at Erwins is hoping to carry the Flashbang very soon!
So, if you can't tell, I love this holster. I is a valued addition to my holster collection and will be worn often!!
Have a great day!

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this holster free from the manufacturer. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. 1. you should check out the website there are many guns listed that can be used for the flashbang, but you do have to remember that each holster fits exactly the gun its made for, so they have to match. I would recommend checking the list, buying your gun, then ordering the holster that fits that gun. For instance, you cant use an lc9 in a flashbang made for an lcp. Hope that helps :)

  6. Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Flashbang holster, based on a few reviews (this one included) and wanted to post my personal experience. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this holster - that said, I had a terrible situation occur with it this morning (after successfully wearing the FB for about 2 weeks), I hopped out of my truck and my gun FELL OUT OF THE HOLSTER! Yeah, you’re thinking the same thing I am (this, by the way) is after wearing it around the house for about 3 hours with no issues). The actual situation made it worse (outside of my daughter’s school), my gun fell on the street and is now BROKEN and THANK GOD it didn’t discharge! I have contacted Looper Law Enforcement via email and phone and am waiting for a response. I’ll keep you all posted, but quite frankly, before you buy – HANG TIGHT.

    1. The only time my LCP has ever fallen from the Flashbang, I noticed that I hadn't snapped it all the way in securely. I ride horses, hike, bike, and so much more with my Flashbang and have never had it fall out except that once.

Just one thing, if you are in Texas please remember that it is illegal to carry at a school. (Actually, I beleive that may be the case in all but two states...and this does not mean that I agree with that rule in any way, just a reminder that we must follow all gun laws.)

  7. I have always had a hard time finding a comfortable bra. Most of my bras are itchy, uncomfortable, heavy and bulky. Not the bali bras. I'm a 42C (just had a baby) and this really really makes me look and feel a lot smaller. It is the most comfortable bra I've ever owned (and it takes a lot for me to say that).
I forget I have it on.

  8. I just got the Ruger LCP w/ Viridian Green Laser, and I know the site offers the holster for the "crimson max" which is almost EXACT same attachment... even tho it doesn't say "green laser" do you think it will still fit?
